As a Freelance Video Director, you will control commercial video’s artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualize the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of that vision.

• Assist our Creative Director with coming up with creative approaches for commercial concepts.
• Read scripts.
• Edit scripts if need be.
• Transform scripts into fully-fledged commercial or film productions.
• Motivate and direct actors through webinars.
• Work on the continuous development of the video.
• Set the tone of the video.
• Ensure Adherence to a production schedule.
• Assist in the marketing and promotion of the commercial or film.
• Select music for the final video and/or work with a composer to decide on the musical score.
• Hold virtual meetings with key departments such as the camera, art and costume departments during the planning stages and throughout the filming.
• Work with sound and music departments.
• Assist in pre-production, production and post-production phases of video, commercial or film making.
• Work with the editor to create the video in its final form.

• Experience directing commercials, industry knowledge and technical expertise.
• 5 years of work experience in an occupation related to commercial production or such as experience as a film and video editor, or a cinematographer.
• 2 years of Freelancing experience required.
