Guy Paterson is a Scottish-born director whose career spans commercials, fiction, documentary, and music films across Europe, Asia, and North America. After studying film in England and the Netherlands—where his thesis won a Royal Television Society award—he was selected to contribute to MTV’s Staying Alive AIDS campaign, earning a Cannes Lions nomination. His work has been supported by the BFI, British Council, and screened at festivals worldwide.

Known for his strong comedic sensibility, Guy has directed global campaigns for brands like Gillette, Google, Samsung, Skoda, Coca-Cola, Intel, Sony, and Barclays. His Gillette film featuring Roger Federer reached international fame, earning coverage on major news channels and pop culture tributes by figures like James Corden and Andy Murray.
