Ajax Creative is seeking multiple visionary and experienced Freelance Art Directors to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Art Director, you will be responsible for leading the visual design and creative direction of our projects, ensuring that all visual elements align with the client’s vision and our high standards of creativity. You will collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to develop and execute compelling visual strategies.

• Lead the creative vision and visual design for various projects, ensuring alignment with client goals.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members to create cohesive visual concepts.
• Oversee the development of design elements, including layouts, color schemes, and typography.
• Ensure all visual components are consistent with the project’s style, tone, and brand guidelines.
• Provide creative direction and feedback throughout the design process to maintain quality.
• Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback to refine the final product.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.

• Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, including composition, color theory, and typography.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to guide creative teams effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective client and team collaboration.
