Ajax Creative is seeking multiple talented and detail-oriented Freelance Assistant Editors to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Assistant Editor, you will support the editing process by organizing footage, creating rough cuts, and ensuring all elements are prepared for the final edit. You will work closely with senior editors, directors, and other team members to maintain the high standards of our video projects.

• Organize and manage raw footage and project files for the editing team.
• Create rough cuts and assemble sequences based on project briefs.
• Collaborate with senior editors and directors to understand project requirements.
• Perform basic edits, including trimming, transitions, and syncing audio.
• Ensure all footage is properly logged and archived for future use.
• Review and implement feedback to refine rough cuts.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and organized workflow.

• Proven experience as an Assistant Editor or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration.
