Ajax Creative is building a visual effects future where hyperrealism and artistic direction coexist. As a Creature/CG Supervisor, you’ll spearhead the artistic and technical execution of complex creature-driven productions. You’ll oversee interdisciplinary teams, ensuring the seamless integration of modeling, rigging, animation, FX, and lookdev — all while maintaining creature fidelity, performance, and pipeline efficiency.

This leadership role is ideal for an artist who can bridge creative vision with CG infrastructure, working at both the shot level and the pipeline scale.

• Lead the development and execution of creature and CG pipelines for cinematic and high-end commercial content.
• Provide technical and creative guidance to modelers, riggers, animators, texture/lookdev artists, and FX teams.
• Ensure assets meet the highest visual standards for realism and continuity across sequences.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and department leads to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Supervise lighting, rendering, and post-integration to maintain asset integrity in the final composite.
• Troubleshoot pipeline bottlenecks and optimize asset flow from asset creation through final delivery.

• Proven experience as a Creature Supervisor, CG Supervisor, or equivalent senior-level VFX lead.
• Deep expertise across character modeling, rigging, animation, shading, and rendering pipelines.
• Solid understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, muscle/fat systems, and real-time vs offline rendering constraints.
• Proficiency in Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine (preferred), and production renderers (Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift).
• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
• Ability to balance quality, performance, and delivery timelines with strategic thinking.
