Ajax Creative is seeking multiple creative and technically proficient Freelance FX Artists to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance FX Artist, you will be responsible for creating dynamic and visually striking effects that bring our video projects to life. You will work closely with VFX supervisors, animators, and other team members to ensure that all effects are seamlessly integrated and align with the project’s creative vision.

• Design and create high-quality visual effects that enhance the storytelling.
• Collaborate with the VFX team to ensure effects meet project goals and technical requirements.
• Utilize software like Houdini, Maya, or After Effects to develop and execute effects.
• Optimize effects for performance while maintaining visual quality.
• Refine and adjust effects based on feedback from directors and supervisors.
• Stay updated on the latest FX techniques and industry trends.
• Manage multiple FX tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

• Proven experience as an FX Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in FX software such as Houdini, Maya, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of particle systems, dynamics, and simulation techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to create both realistic and stylized effects.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis with varying timelines.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with the team.
