Ajax Creative is seeking multiple talented and experienced Freelance Lighting Artists to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for creating and enhancing the lighting of scenes to match the artistic vision of our video projects. You will collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, and other team members to ensure each project achieves the desired mood and visual impact.

• Design and implement lighting setups that enhance the visual storytelling of each scene.
• Collaborate with directors and cinematographers to align lighting with the creative vision.
• Adjust lighting based on on-set conditions to achieve the desired effects.
• Ensure consistency in lighting across different shots and scenes.
• Review and refine lighting during post-production to maintain visual quality.
• Stay informed on the latest lighting techniques and equipment.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring all lighting is delivered on schedule.

• Proven experience as a Lighting Artist or similar role, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in lighting techniques for both on-set and post-production.
• Strong understanding of how lighting affects mood, tone, and composition.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for adapting lighting to various environments.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective team collaboration.
