Ajax Creative is seeking multiple talented and technically skilled Freelance Rigging Artists to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Rigging Artist, you will be responsible for creating versatile and efficient rigs that bring characters, creatures, and objects to life in our animation projects. You will collaborate closely with animators, modelers, and other team members to ensure that all rigs meet the project’s technical requirements and creative vision.

• Design and build flexible rigs for characters, creatures, and objects.
• Collaborate with animators to ensure rigs support a wide range of motion and expressions.
• Implement and optimize control systems for animators to easily manipulate rigs.
• Troubleshoot and refine rigs to address any technical or performance issues.
• Ensure rigs are compatible with the project’s animation pipeline and software.
• Stay updated on the latest rigging techniques and tools.
• Manage multiple rigging tasks, ensuring high-quality results are delivered on time.

• Proven experience as a Rigging Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in rigging software such as Maya, Blender, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, kinematics, and deformation for both organic and mechanical models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in rigging tasks.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with the team.
