Ajax Creative is seeking multiple meticulous and skilled Freelance Roto Artists to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Roto Artist, you will be responsible for creating precise mattes to isolate elements in live-action footage, ensuring seamless integration with visual effects. You will work closely with VFX supervisors, compositors, and other team members to deliver high-quality roto work that meets the project’s visual and technical standards.

• Create accurate rotoscoping mattes to isolate elements in live-action footage.
• Collaborate with compositors to ensure seamless integration of VFX elements.
• Use industry-standard software like Silhouette, Nuke, or Mocha for roto work.
• Ensure consistency and precision in rotoscoping across all frames.
• Refine and adjust mattes based on feedback to meet project requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest roto techniques and tools to enhance workflow.
• Manage multiple roto tasks, delivering high-quality mattes on time.

• Proven experience as a Roto Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in rotoscoping software such as Silhouette, Nuke, or Mocha.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, accurate mattes.
• Understanding of compositing and how rotoscoping fits into the VFX pipeline.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis with varying schedules.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with the team.
