Ajax Creative is seeking multiple talented and technically proficient Freelance Simulation Artists to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Simulation Artist, you will be responsible for creating realistic simulations for various elements, including fluids, cloth, hair, and particles, to enhance the visual effects in our projects. You will collaborate closely with VFX artists, animators, and other team members to ensure that all simulations meet the project’s creative and technical standards.

• Create realistic simulations for fluids, cloth, hair, and particles that align with project requirements.
• Collaborate with VFX artists to integrate simulations seamlessly into scenes.
• Use industry-standard software like Houdini, Maya, or RealFlow to develop and refine simulations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize simulations to achieve the desired visual effects efficiently.
• Ensure all simulations are consistent with the project's style and visual goals.
• Stay informed on the latest simulation techniques and software updates.
• Manage multiple simulation tasks, delivering high-quality results on schedule.

• Proven experience as a Simulation Artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work.
• Proficiency in simulation software such as Houdini, Maya, RealFlow, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of physics-based simulation techniques and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in creating simulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective team collaboration.
