Ajax Creative is seeking multiple skilled and reliable Freelance Sound Operators to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Sound Operator, you will be responsible for capturing and ensuring high-quality audio during video productions. You will work closely with directors, producers, and other crew members to ensure that each project meets our high standards of sound quality and clarity.

• Set up and operate sound equipment for video shoots, including microphones, mixers, and recorders.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand audio requirements for each project.
• Monitor audio levels and quality during shoots to ensure clear and consistent sound.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any sound-related issues that arise during production.
• Maintain and organize sound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Assist in post-production audio tasks, such as syncing and editing sound files.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality audio capture.

• Proven experience as a Sound Operator or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your audio skills.
• Proficiency with professional sound equipment and audio recording software.
• Strong understanding of audio principles, including sound levels, acoustics, and clarity.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality sound.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis.Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration.
