Ajax Creative is seeking multiple talented and detail-oriented Freelance Texture Artists to join our talent pool on a per project, on-call contract basis. As a Freelance Texture Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality textures that bring characters, environments, and objects to life. You will collaborate closely with modelers, lighting artists, and other team members to ensure that textures meet the artistic and technical requirements of each project.

• Create high-quality textures for characters, environments, and objects based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with modelers and lighting artists to ensure textures integrate seamlessly into the final scene.
• Use industry-standard software such as Substance Painter, Photoshop, or Mari to develop and refine textures.
• Ensure textures are consistent with the project’s visual style and meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize textures for performance and visual fidelity.
• Stay updated on the latest texture creation techniques and tools.
• Manage multiple texture creation tasks, delivering high-quality work on time.

• Proven experience as a Texture Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in texture creation software like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or Mari.
• Strong understanding of color theory, material properties, and UV mapping.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to create photorealistic or stylized textures.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis.
• Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with the team.
